The charity was set up as a response to these findings. The groups are held in a variety of ‘sheds’ including empty offices, portakabins, warehouses and garages all over the UK. Many groups take part in community projects such as restoring village features, maintaining parks and green spaces and building items for schools, libraries and people in need. Skills often include: – Woodwork, – Metalwork, – Repair and restoration, – Electronics, – Model building, – Car building.
