OVO Energy powers over 4 million homes across the UK. There are a couple of different methods that you can contact OVO Energy.
OVO Energy have an online community where fellow customers and staff can communicate with you to answer questions, just go to https://forum.ovoenergy.com/ to access the community.
The OVO Energy online hub has lots of different self-serve options and help articles for common queries, you can find them here https://help.ovoenergy.com/#contact_us_container there’s also a live chat facility available there between 8 am & 6 pm on weekdays and 8 am – 2 pm on Saturdays.
You can call OVO Energy on 0330 303 5063 for pay-monthly customers and 0330 175 9669 for pay-as-you-go customers. Their telephone lines are only available between 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. However, the pay-as-you-go line can be contacted on weekends between 9 am & 5 pm.

I have been a customer of OV0 Energy for quite a while. During this time I have been satisfied and stayed as a customer. Yesterday I followed advice given by several financial advisors and took my gas and electricity readings towards the end of the day, prior to the prices increasing as of 1st October. What do I do with those reading now? Do I submit them to OVO Energy now or wait until my next quarterly payment is due. If I submit them now under what title do I do that. Thank you.
Hello Paul…You should submit your readings to OVO Energy as soon as possible to ensure you’re charged the current rate before the price increase. When submitting, look for the option to submit a “meter reading” on their website or app: read more about it on https://www.ovoenergy.com/help/article/how-to-submit-your-gas-and-electricity-readings. You don’t need a specific title; just enter the readings under the standard submission process. This will help avoid any higher charges on your next bill.
To help with my bill I asked to be sent an electric throw – it arrived two days ago / worked for one day and no longer works 🙁 can I get a new one ? Also my bill is historic – been paying off part of it each month for 5 years – is there a way of reducing it drastically in light of no back billing legal guidance ? Bill was from before ovo took over .
