Having recently had a Smart meter installed it took me a long time to make the decision,i was never the less disappointed when i got a phone informing me that there was a problem with the meter not sending readings to the company which i find very inconvenient,which also made me feel as if i made the wrong decision and not kept the old meter instead,since then i have had a second engineer pay a visit to correct the fault (hopefully).

I want to change tariff to fixed tonight 30/ sept 2024
Can’t do it please help
1. Login to Your Octopus Energy Account
Go to the Octopus Energy website.
Click “Login” in the top right corner.
Enter your email and password to access your account.
2. Go to the Tariff Section
Once logged in, look for the “Tariff” or “My Account” section. This is where you can view your current tariff and explore other available options.
Sometimes, there is an option to “Change tariff” right from the dashboard.
3. Select Fixed Tariff
If you’re presented with a list of available tariffs, look for the one labeled “fixed” or similar, as Octopus offers both fixed and variable tariffs.
Click on the option to select the fixed tariff that suits your needs.
4. Confirm the Change
Once you’ve selected your new fixed tariff, there should be an option to confirm the change. Follow the instructions on-screen to complete the switch.
5. Check for Any Issues
If you can’t find the fixed tariff option or are encountering technical difficulties, you can try clearing your browser cache or using another browser or device.
6. Contact Octopus Customer Support

A most unsatisfactory bill from Octopus, showing 21.25Kwh for both day and night which cannot be right, if it were then i am not being billed for as economy 7, further on bill shows Night rate usage as £127.06 nd Day rate usage as £17.50.
I would need furtherclarification that I am being billed correctly, unfortunately Octopus energy are proving to be just as unsatisfactory with billing information as my previous energy supplier.

My hot water is not working. There’s no hot water
