- Ceredigion, at 1.29%
Wales notably secured five out of the top ten local authorities for solar uptake. This is a very strong indicator of regional leadership in the home energy transition.

MSC-certified installations are now being recorded at an average of over 5,000 systems per week, an all-time high since records began in 2009.

Solar PV is leading the charge, but the broader market for low-carbon technologies is expanding as well. MCS data shows that the total domestic renewable installations, including heat pumps and battery storage, rose by 18% year-on-year.
