Barnardo’s St Helens Resilience Service

Barnado’s is a national charity that supports children and young people – please see our Support Hub for further details.

Barnado’s St Helens Resilience Service supports secondary aged young people with emotional wellbeing and resilience.

Secondary schools within the borough have their own designated therapist or mental health practitioner that delivers drop-ins, group work and 1-1 therapy.

Drop-in support is also available for parents, carers and school staff every half-term. Working alongside GP’s and in the community, the service aims to reduce the number of young people being formally referred to mental health and well-being services.
