| Barking Foodbank | Barking Foodbank is part of the national Trussell Trust network – please see our Support Hub for more details. The Barking Foodbank was first set up in 2011 to help local church members who were struggling to feed their children. After affiliating with the Trussell Trust in 2012, the Barking Foodbank was born and became a charity in 2014. It now operates three distribution centres throughout the borough. A foodbank voucher is required to access the services. These can be acquired by calling or emailing the Foodbank, contacting Citizens Advice or by referral from a professional service. The voucher can then be taken to a local Foodbank and exchanged for a 3 day parcel of emergency food. |
