Sudbury Rotary Club has around 40 members that contribute to community and wider world fund-raising efforts by meeting for projects, social events, meals and group talks. The club has raised £75,000 for various causes and charities in the last five years, A key part of the club’s work is environmental activities that encourage schools to become aware of the importance of the environment and support programs for young people that encourage them to learn a variety of life skills. As well as creating community activities that benefit the local area; the group also takes part in a variety of long-term projects that aim to make a difference to less fortunate international communities. |
