Ainsdale & Birkdale Art Club
Ainsdale & Birkdale Art Club is a weekly group for local artists to meet and make friends while drawing and painting together. All levels of experience are welcome; from beginners to more experienced artists. Free practice sessions are more relaxed although formal tuition is available throughmonthly workshops or exhibitions. These are often available to visitors for £5.
Membership is limited to 30. When the group is full; those who wish to join in the future are made associate members and put on a waiting list until spaces become available. Associate members are welcome to attend workshops/demonstrations and take part in exhibitionsand external events.

The charity provides long and short-term support throughout Merseyside for people affected by bereavement through suicide. Liaison workers will aim to achieve initial contact within 24 hours of a referral being made.
The service is free and confidential and commissioned by CHAMPS (the Cheshire and Merseyside Public Health Collaborative).

Ainsdale Civic Society is one of over 1,000 Civic Societies in the UK.
The group was established in 2000 as an action group to try and fulfil some of the Conservative election campaign promises made at the time and combat problems that arose.
After joining the National Civic Society organisation, the group cut ties with political parties and became solely interested with serving Ainsdale and its community.
Ainsdale Horticultural Society is a local community organisation that holds an annual centrepiece summer show event on the Village Green showcasing local talent and produce. Competitive classes are open to also available to visitors from beyond the local area.
Membership fees range £7.50 to £20.

Ainsdale Methodist Church is a place of worship at the heart of the Ainsdale community that offers a variety of activities.
One of the main organisations it houses is the Ainsdale Lunch and Leisure Club. This is an independent charity that aims to help older people live longer and better by creating an environment that supports healthy aging and value-building throughout their lives. It also helps to combat social isolation and loneliness through services that encourage physical, mental and cognitive health self-care.
