Littlehampton Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club offers an opportunity for military veterans and their families to meet for a brew and chat.

Donations are welcome but there is no formal membership but you are expected to have a connection to a military family in a significant way.

The club meets every Wednesday and Saturday between 10am & 12pm.

Friends of Mewsbrook Park

Friends of Mewbrook Park is part of the national TCV (The Conservation Volunteers’) Community Network Group – Please see our Support Hub for further details.

Friends of Mewsbrook Park is a group that enhances and maintains the park’s Green Flag status and ensures it is an asset to the local community. Alongside maintenance tasks such as gardening and litter picking, the group holds meetings twice a year to discuss programmes, concerns and council planning. Social events and talks on various subjects are held throughout the year along with nature trail and competitions.

Membership costs £5 per household and is renewable annually on 1st April.

Home-Start Arun, Worthing & Adur provides volunteer-led befriending support and practical and emotional advice to families with young children struggling with the challenges of parenting.

Bognor Regis Foodbank is supported by The Trussell Trust – Please see our Support Hub for more details.Bognor Regis Foodbank is supported by local churches and community groups. It aims to prevent hunger in the local area by providing emergency food and practical help to support people in crisis.

Those in difficulty are referred to the foodbank by professionals such as social workers and GPs. They then receive a voucher which entitles them to a 3-day nutritionally-balanced emergency food parcel and will also be signposted to other services that can support them out of poverty.

Cancer United is a charity that offers health and wellbeing support to people going through cancer treatment. Founded by Jan Sheward after finding a lack of health and wellbeing support available following a breast cancer diagnosis; the charity offers services and benefits designed to improve the physical and mental health of everyone that has been affected by cancer. CUFitter – the UK’s first cancer specific gym & fitness centre.
CU On the Ward – an exercise programme designed for people staying in hospital.
Out Sing Cancer – a choir for people whose lives have been affected by cancer.

Bognor Regis Lions Club has raised over £3 million since it was established in 1965 for local charitable causes. Funds are raised through a variety of social events, fayres and festivals.
Administration expenses are met by modest member subscription fees. Membership is by invitation and there are business meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month at the Robin Hood Hotel at 8pm.
